WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WWJ) — Oakland County’s first recreational marijuana delivery service is just days away.
Lume Cannabis Co. will launch Lume Delivery on Friday, April 3, making it more convenient for customers in communities across Oakland and Wayne Counties to purchase marijuana — and also promote public health and safety during the coronavirus pandemic.
Lume, which operates seven other stores across the state, says its delivery service has been in high demand at its stores in Evart and Honor and they expect it to take off in Oakland County.
“We look forward to making this service available to our patients and customers in Oakland and Wayne counties because it will make it more convenient for them to access our huge variety of high-quality cannabis products during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume said in a press release.
Lume is offering a 10% discount on all phone and online pre-orders for delivery and curbside pickup during the COVID-19 outbreak. Orders can be placed on Lume’s website.
In order to receive a delivery order, recreational customers 21 years and older will be required to upload a valid government-issued ID card, while medical patiens (18+), must upload their government-issued ID, as well as their valid marijuana patient registry card. Lume says during the governor’s “stay home, stay safe” order, it will temporarily accept a driver’s license or other government-issued identification card and Marijuana Patient Registry Cards that have expired in the previous 60 days.
Delivery orders must be at least $75 worth of products before tax and delivery fees, and ordered using a debit card. No cash will be accepted.
