A Texas man driving around with a completely flat tire has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm after a deputy officer pulled over the vehicle in Wichita Falls, reports Times Record News.
As the officer approached the vehicle, she noted the smell of cannabis and told the driver and passenger that she had probable cause to conduct a search.

The driver, identified as Dustin Bishop, began to reach for something and the officer then ordered him out of the car. Another officer then recovered a loaded handgun that was tucked in Bishop’s pants with a round in the chamber.
It’s unclear if cannabis was also uncovered in the search.
Bishop was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond has been set at US$25,000 ($31,500).
Closer to home, two Ontario residents were recently busted when a distinctly skunky smell was emanating from their truck. The two men were stopped at a RIDE check in the Almaguin Highlands when officers picked up the scent of cannabis.
A vehicle search uncovered more than 500 cannabis plants in the bed of the truck. The driver and passenger were each arrested.
Another Canadian man was recently charged with criminal possession of cannabis in New York State after officers pulled over his vehicle on Interstate 81 south in Richland, N.Y.
